Bathrooms of The Shining
Stanley Kubrick's 1980 film ‘the shining’ is a cult classic. With notable one-liners like “Here's Johnny!” And  “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”  it is no wonder that this film has been deemed by many as the greatest horror movie ever. But while you were left speechless by the iconic cinematography (or the axe-murdering) you may have skimmed over the fact that The Shining has some really really cool bathrooms.

The Red Bathroom
The Red Bathroom is said to have been inspired by a similarly styled Frank Lloyd Wright designed bathroom at the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bathroom 237
Kubrick was asked not to depict Room 217 (featured in the book) in The Shining, because future guests at the Lodge might be afraid to stay there. So a nonexistent room, Room 237, was substituted in the film.
